  • Drinks are available at the bar, including beer, wine, seltzer, cider, and a limited menu of mixed liquor drinks. Please have your ID ready if ordering one of these beverages.
  • Food is available for purchase at the show.
  • Tickets may be available at the door for a higher purchase price.
  • VIP Seating is front row. The seats are a little bigger and you are guaranteed to have a table for every two seats.
  • Doors will open 30 minutes before show time.
  • The use of video equipment or flash photography is strictly prohibited.
  • Blue Ridge Comedy Club has 14 Parking spaces, including 1 ADA space in our parking lot at 560 English Street. Highlighted in Blue.
  • There is also additional street parking available on English Street. Highlighted in Yellow.
  • The Wes Davis Greenway is a walking path that passes through downtown Bristol and the location of Blue Ridge Comedy Club. Highlighted in Green."

This is a fundraiser comedy show to benefit Isaiah 117 House.  


Isaiah 117 House is a nonprofit organization that provides physical and emotional support in a safe and loving home for children awaiting foster care placement.

What They Do:

When a child is removed from their home they typically have to wait in a child welfare office for hours or even days while social workers search for a suitable foster placement. During this stressful time, the child may be scared, hungry, and confused.  Isaiah 117 House steps in at that critical moment. Providing a home-like environment where children can feel safe and cared for by offering clean clothes, a bath, toys, food, and a loving volunteer presence, giving support to the caseworkers who are making placement decisions. Helping foster families by ensuring children arrive with some essentials and emotional stability.

This is a Clean Comedy Show Featuring Shawn Carter

Shawn Carter is a nationally touring stand-up comedian known for his clean, clever comedy and heartfelt storytelling. With a warm stage presence and sharp sense of humor, Shawn brings laughs the whole room can enjoy—without ever needing to go off-color.

Originally from Boston and now based in Bristol, Tennessee, Shawn runs the Blue Ridge Comedy Club, where he works to make high-quality comedy accessible to the community. His comedy album 'Boston to Bristol' debuted at #1 on the iTunes Comedy Chart, and he’s been featured in festivals and venues across the country.

Shawn is honored to perform in support of Isaiah 117 House, an organization doing vital work to provide love and comfort to children entering the foster care system. Whether on stage or off, he believes in using laughter to bring people together and lift up a good cause.
