Our Standup Comedy 101 Class is taught by Shawn Carter.
Shawn began his comedy career in 2006 at The Comedy Studio in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Since then he has performed at comedy clubs all over the country, universities, and festivals.
In 2023 Shawn released his second album "Boston to Bristol" which debuted at #1 on the Comedy Chart for Apple Music.
During his time in Boston he opened for the likes of Deon Cole, Orny Adams, Josh Gondelman, and more.
Shawn can't make you funny... but he can help you understand joke structure, teach you writing exercises, encourage your growth, and help you avoid a lot of mistakes new comedians make.
We are limiting class size to assure the best experience for our students, so sign up today for this 6 week course and you'll be on-stage hearing the roar of laughter in no time.
