Comedy Open Mic
Welcome to the best open mic in East Tennessee, maybe even all of Tennessee, perhaps even the world! Come watch a fun night of comedy right here in Bristol, TN.
Whether you are a comedian with years of experience or someone that would like to try it out for the first time we are happy to have you on our stage during our Wednesday Night Open Mic!
Each performer is given up to 5 minutes of stage time. Sign-up sheet is available at 7:30. Show starts at 8pm
This show is free to attend. Please support live comedy by purchasing some snacks, beer, wine, cider, soda, or a Nathan's Hot Dog during the show.

Blake Wexler (Comedy Central, ABC)
Blake Wexler started doing stand-up at the age of 15 as a high school student in Philadelphia, continued performing in Boston while attending Emerson College, and ultimately moved to Los Angeles in 2011.
In addition to writing for and appearing on Comedy Central & ABC, Blake also has been a featured performer in The Boston Comedy Festival, Seattle Comedy Competition, Laughing Skull Fest, 10000 Laughs and The Aspen Comedy Festival, and can be regularly heard on The Cracked, Daily Zeitgeist & The Todd Glass Show podcasts.
Blake’s critically acclaimed stand-up comedy recordings The Blake Album (2016), Stuffed Boy (2018), Live From The Pandemic (2020) and A Lifetime of Laughter (2021) debuted #1 on the iTunes & Amazon comedy charts, and his album 12 Years of Voicemails from Todd Glass to Blake Wexler charted on Billboard.

Over the last fifteen years John Hastings has appeared at every major comedy festival in the world, including Edinburgh (2012-2019), Melbourne and Just for Laughs Montreal. He has told jokes on BBC Radio 4, BBC 1, BBC 3, Comedy Central, CTV Australian Comedy Channel, and CBC The Comedy Network.
John is also the COCA Comedian of the Year, a Martin Sims Award Nominee, an Amused Moose Comedy Award winner, and was briefly a viral sensation after Dennis Rodman heckled him in Los Angeles. He was most recently spotted on America's Got Talent where he got a standing ovation from the judges with no audience.

Ben Dailey and Edward Bell
Ben Dailey is a comedian based out of Denver, Colorado. He has performed in clubs and venues all around the country and has been selected to perform at multiple comedy festivals including the Blue Whale Comedy Festival, Flagship City Comedy Festival, and the Rubber City Comedy Festival. He was also a finalist on the show “Am I Funny?”; a made-up comedy competition held in the basement of his parent’s house.
His comedy ranges from silly thoughts, stories of his childhood, and interesting situations that happen in his daily life. Having lived in both small towns and large cities, Ben has the ability to connect with audiences and deliver relatable material that can be enjoyed by everyone.
Edward Bell is a stand up comedian originally from rural eastern Iowa, now living in Colorado.
He is a regular at the Comedy Works in Denver. He has written for the Hard Times. He has been featured in the High Plains Comedy Festival, the Boston Comedy Festival, and Alaska's B4UDIE Comedy Festival. He has had the pleasure of opening for Nick Thune, John Heffron, and Gavin Matts.
In 2024, he released his debut album Residual Income via Burn This Records. It hit #1 on the iTunes Comedy Charts and can be heard in regular rotation on SiriusXM.

Originally from Winnipeg, Canada, Tanyalee now makes her home in the USA. In just a short time Tanyalee has become ‘TikTok Famous’ with over 3.2 million followers, 4 mill with all the other platforms.Tanyalee Davis will appear on the All Access TV show in Canada Jan 2024.
Tanyalee was featured on BBC’s The John Bishop Show which led to her being featured on BBC’s Live At The Apollo, The Blame Game is BBC Northern Ireland’s top rated panel Show and Tanyalee was a guest panelist. Goodbye State Street!
We are moving to a new location and we've invited all of our favorite comedians to come by and do a set as we say goodbye to State Street.
We've had a lot of good times in our little nook at 620 State Street but we're moving on to bigger and better things. This will be our chance as a community to have one last laugh in the place where it all began.
